Essential Qualification for those who want to assess NVQ Candidates

Learner entry requirements

o Over 18 years of age
o Hold relevant Level 3 qualification and have two years post-qualification
   experience.
o Good literacy and Numeracy skills
o Access to Level 2 NVQ candidates to assess

o Production of Portfolio of evidence Topics include
o Planning and Organising Assessment
o Deciding on Assessment methods
o Judging evidence, Recording and providing Feedback

Time Scale for Achievement of the Award

Your registration with the Awarding Body (in this case City and Guilds) normally lasts three years. Most learners complete in around twelve months. It largely depends on your efforts. 10 x 2 hour sessions (at least 4 'Off-the-Job')
